The Brewery Running Series started in Minneapolis, MN in 2012. Co-founders Nate and Morgan joined forces to start a series of events combining their favorite things – being active, drinking beer, and supporting their community.
The Florida chapter (originally founded in 2019 by Kacy Irby) is owned and operated by Alyssa Gruber and Gabriel Rodriguez. This amazing duo shares their time with Pennsylvania - organizing more BRS events Pittsburgh area. Gabe and Alyssa happily snowbird to Florida each winter to keep the fun going down south.
With the help of a growing team, the FL chapter of the Brewery Running Series continues to expand with events across the sunshine state.
Across all our events, participants walk, jog, or run a 5k course and then drink beer. It’s just that simple! Everyone is invited to enjoy the day’s entertainment – live music, food trucks, giveaways, and activities with partners and sponsors. All finishers receive a FREE craft brew and a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item. The icing on the cake? A portion of all proceeds goes to benefit local non-profits.

Ambassadors are passionate about being active, having fun, and giving back!
Dedicated team players who are willing to go the extra mile to help our runners have a great experience; and enthusiastic about sharing their experiences with others.As a Brand Ambassador you would volunteer at our events, spread the word about BRS, and help recruit additional volunteers and participants. As part of the BRS team, we’d hook you up with some great swag, craft beer, and race entries for you and your friends!
