WHO WE ARE: Colorado Brewery Running Series events include 5k, 10k, half marathon, and 50k events across the Front Range and beyond. Each event starts and finishes at local Colorado breweries. We welcome all runners, walkers, joggers, and spectators that are interested in enjoying the great outdoors and the great craft beer that Colorado has to offer. All of our participants complete a 5k/10k/13.1/50k course near a CO brewery. Afterwards, everyone hangs out, drinks beer, and enjoys local live music! All runners get a finisher medal or seasonal swag item (depending on the event) and an invitation to enjoy the days’ scheduled festivities: live music, food, sponsor goodies, giveaways and more!
WHAT WE’RE ABOUT: Our motto = be active, have fun, give back! In addition to pairing some exercise and good beer, a portion of all proceeds go back to local non-profits, In 2024, we happily partnered with more than 10 non-profit organizations, and we are very proud that the Colorado Brewery Running Series has so far donated over $180,000 to local non-profits! Volunteer for beer! We’re always looking for enthusiastic, beer-loving volunteers to help us put on these awesome 5k+ runs. Want a free beer without having to run/walk? WHAT’S NEXT: In our ten years here in Colorado, we have hosted over 260 events at over 80 different Colorado breweries, with over 70,000 runners completing our courses. As we continue to grow, we are looking forward to 2026 being our biggest, best, and most brewtiful year yet!
HOW WE GOT HERE: The Brewery Running Series started in Minneapolis in 2012 by Nate Herrington and Morgan Jappe. They wanted to combine their favorite things – being active, drinking beer, and supporting their community. Turns out, a few thousand other locals share those same interests! A few years and tens of thousands of beers and miles later, they decided to branch out, sharing the concept with local organizers across the country.
The Colorado Brewery Running Series is locally owned and operated by – Brady Archer. He is the mastermind behind the Colorado event schedule, monthly virtual challenges and at the helm of ensuring everyone has a great run/walk, delicious beer, and a fun experience!

Apply to be a 2026 Colorado Brewery Running Series Ambassador!! Join us as an ambassador and take advantage of our great perks, including free events, free beer, free gear, and more!
We are looking for 50+ dedicated, awesome, fun ambassadors for the 2026 season. Commit to helping us at 6+ events (five 5k events, and one half marathon/50k event), and help promote our series to your friends, family, and network throughout the year!
As an ambassador, you’ll receive 6free entries (five 5k events and one half marathon) that you can use for yourself or your friends, a free beer and swag item at each event, the 2026 ambassador tech shirt, and the opportunity to support and connect with like-minded runners and beer enthusiasts!
Apply by February 2, 2026.
Our events couldn’t happen without you. We ask for 4 hours of your time in exchange for a beer, t-shirt, and a 1/2 off entry to a future Colorado BRS event. Register to volunteer for any 2026 event directly from the Eventbrite registration page for each event. Click on ‘REGISTER’ or ‘TICKETS’ and select the VOLUNTEER ticket option. Once you register, you will receive an email from our team the week of the event with event details, timeline, and parking info.
